Protected Health Information (PHI) & HIPAA
We handle PHI as a HIPAA Business Associate. PHI is processed solely to provide billing services, under a signed Business Associate Agreement (BAA), and is never sold.
How we use information
To submit and work claims, communicate with you and payers, improve our service, and meet legal and regulatory obligations.
Sharing & subprocessors
We share information only with the payers, clearinghouses, and vetted subprocessors required to deliver the service, each bound by appropriate confidentiality and security terms.
Security
Data is encrypted in transit and at rest, access is least-privilege and audited, and our controls map to SOC 2 Type II and HIPAA requirements.
